When a Sculptor Builds His Own Scooter

With our ’86 Honda Elite safely tucked away at ScooterFile HQ, I’ve started looking at repairing the various scrapes and scratches in the body panels. That brought to mind the project seen above, where an intrepid kinetic sculptor decided to re-body a Honda Elite 125 all together. Dubbed “Quicksilver”, the transformation is profound. Say what you like about his aesthetics, you’ve got to give credit to his ambition. The best part is that because he shared his project as an Instructable, you can follow along with his process step-by-step. Anybody else ever been tempted to improvise a new shape for their scooter?
