Chopped Vespas are not in and of themselves anything we haven’t seen before, but this creation from Indonesian builders Kopi Kustom is the third in a series of outrageous, fully committed Vespa choppers. What instantly separates these creations is that level of commitment. This is no slapped together hack job. Instead, it’s so over-the-top that it completely sells the idea. Working form the Vespa’s compact powerplant forward, the chopper design is able to do things it could never really accomplish with a conventional motor to contend with. I want to hate it on principle, but I just can’t. It’s too remarkable. Well done!
