The Wonderful Art Vespas of Turkey

Turkey is an ancient and mysterious country known for its Byzantine architecture, beautiful Mediterranean coastlines, the city that was formerly known as Constantinople and bridging the cultures of Europe and the geopolitical hotbeds of Western Asia. It’s also the home of a number of talented artists, many of whom apply their skills to design unique LXs for Vespa Turkey’s annual Art Vespa competition. The entries range from predictable to sublime, with a lot of whimsy tossed in for good measure. They also show how the Internet has helped globalize visual styles and trends. Overall, the styles are very Pinterest-y. We’ve collected several of our favorites from the past two years for the gallery below.
