The world of scooters kicked off this week with a new player in the custom Ruckus scene: Greg Hatcher of MNNTHBX. We found a fun online profile of Greg and his Ruckus/Grom-based shenanigans. Looks like they’re having a lot of fun over there.
While the internet is primarily intended for cat videos, every once in a while we come across a great scooter video. This time, it’s a time-lapse of a yellow Vespa making its way through town. That description doesn’t do the video justice, though. Check it out.
Next week is going to be a big week for the scooter world, with the official launch of the Genuine Stella 125 Automatic. We want your questions for when we go hands-on with the new Stella and have our chance to chat with the folks at Genuine Scooter Company. We’ve had a handful of questions both here and on Facebook, but it’s not too late to get those questions in. We want to hear from you.
Lastly this week we shared a Kickstarter campaign that warmed our little two-wheeled hearts. While not directly scooter related (yet!), the documentary film project Sit Stay Ride — The Story of America’s Sidecar Dogs deserves a share on ScooterFile nonetheless. Here’s what we can do, though. Head over to Kickstarter and support the project just on its own merits, but then follow up with the filmmakers via Kickstarter or Facebook and get them in touch with scooter sidecar dog lovers so that scooters get their due representation in what looks to be an utterly charming little movie.
