Scheduled to go into production in January, 2013, this one-wheeled, self-balancing electric scooter is being developed by RYNO motors in Portland, Oregon. Meant as urban transport that can be taken on buses and subways or into buildings, it has a range of 20 miles, with a sidewalk speed of 12.5 mph or 25 mph at full speed. It will be sold through dealers; price has not been set but the RYNO is estimated to retail around $4,500.
