Video: Tough Enough

There’s an elephant in the room when it comes to scooter advertising. Nobody seems to quite know what to do with it. It seems like none of the OEMs have stepped up and done it really well in the modern era. Some of that is budgets, but I really think it’s a lack of the right strategy, and the right creative help to execute it. The fine folks at Armadillo Scooterwear, however, seem to be on to something.

Granted, this is an ad for their line of protective clothing, but it could just as easily be an attitude piece for riding scooters in general. Granted, I’m not into clowns (and let’s be honest, neither are you), but the attitude is there. It’s got some edge but without trying to pander to the chopper set — who frankly, couldn’t possibly care less about scooters. This gets my blood going. You?
